I have a document in which there is one space after full stop in some places
and two spaces after full stop in other places. i want to make it uniform with
two spaces. is there a way?

The TAB key is supposed to behave that way. Anyway if you wish to replace
the tab character with a space character then enter "^t" without quotes in
the Find What box. ^t represents the tab character.

Good , but I am struck at one point. I put at many places the tab, in
stead of space, now I want to replace the tab with a space, so in find
and replace dialogue I am unable to type tab in find collumn. As soon
I press tab the cursor moves to replace dialogue box!
