Do not panic. Many devices heat up during charging. You will usually not have the usb cables connected during use. In the version of the glasses I have, there are 2 devices you need to charge. One is the glasses themselves. The other is the SHG device. Is it the same for you? The glasses are a third party component. The SHG device which is the camera is made by SHG.
