We’ve had an extensive use of Zeromq with TCP endpoints over WANs, including
the Internet and VPNs, sometimes using WiFi or shared connections with mobile
phones, in very unstable conditions.

The ability of Zeromq to reconnect automatically and to monitor connection
states always did wonders.
