I understand your point. I have one more question. Do I need to set the 
Conflate option for both publisher and subscriber?
I believe if I set it only in publisher side, there should be no need to set it 
on the subscriber side. Just thinking though.

As the zmq_setsockopt manpage states, you need to set the option before
bind/connect.
