Designation: Non-Export Controlled Content
Steve;
                Thanks for responding. My follow on question is, would this
still be the case in light of the following additional information?

1. The 2 nodes in question are diskless clients that are spawned from the
same image from the same server. The hardware they are running on is identical.

2. Testing with basic multicast works in both directions.
Thanks again.

Rick

Flipping the direction and failing suggests that one of the hosts may have not
correctly determined the local network interfaces. You can always explicitly
set the local interfaces to bind to when creating the socket. Later versions
in GitHub have corrected some known interface issues with newer RHEL releases
and special configurations. However because of lack of testing no new official
release has been pushed out yet.

Folks;
                We are attempting to use openpgm with zero mq epgm transport.
We have a multi node system here. It looks like the send and receive mechanism
will work in one direction. We have a test sender on node 1 and a test
receiver on node 2. The messages flow and are received by the receiver. If we
flip the scenario around and run the sender on node 2 and the receiver on node
1, there is no message flow. The same scenario is also a problem for pgm. tcp
transport works fine in both directions.

                We are using ZeroMQ 4.2.2 and OpenPGM 5.0.0.122 on Red Hat 7 64
bit.

Thanx
Rick

Folks;
                Having an issue with openpgm as used through Zero MQ. Is this
the correct forum to ask about this?

Thanx
