Thank you for providing that app.I'm sorry for the misunderstanding regarding
the homework. This is not actually a homework,nor am I trying to cheat; the
reason why I was asking was simply for research purposes.If there are already
similar implementations of the same idea, I would have to providesome
improvements or abandon this idea altogether.

You'll have to substitute QApplication and maybe Xlib with xcb.
And you're aware that you're cheating your homework and thus basically
