There's a fix in xserver 1.6.x to avoid a false positive of the check above due to pixel clock rounding errors. If that doesn't help, there may be a bug in vt8623fb.is that fix the one from <https://bugzillafiles.novell.org/attachment.cgi?id=161573> or there is more?I mean http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/commit/?id=bf333c2f9833a178887e7bdd7fc338f1e09c387f
