We should probably have a link to Henrik's kernel mt protocol doc

http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=blob;f=Documentation/input/multi-touch-protocol.txt;hb=HEAD

(Henrik, feel free to provide a better link).

A bit of a suggested outline off the top of my head

over view
architecture
xi/xi2 stuff
contact manager
        tracking?
        grouping?
gesture engine
input drivers (at very least support status)
        evdev
        multitouch
        wacom
        ntrig?

core events

toolkit support
client libraries

I think if nothing else it would be good to clarify what interfaces will be
exposed downstream so that people working on toolkits/libraries and clients can
start to prepare for multitouch in parallel. Also, I think if there's ambiguity
(and there is) to clear up, that perhaps the downstream developers might provide
more useful feedback if they have a clearer picture of the current plans.

Cheers,
Rafi
