Hi, The ivi-controller protocol supports taking screenshots: Protocol: https://github.com/GENIVI/wayland-ivi-extension/blob/master/protocol/ivi-controller.xml Server side implementation of the procotol: https://github.com/GENIVI/wayland-ivi-extension/blob/master/weston-ivi-shell/src/ivi-controller.c (screenshot function is called controller_screen_screenshot) Client side implementation of the protocol: https://github.com/GENIVI/wayland-ivi-extension/blob/master/ivi-layermanagement-api/ilmControl/src/ilm_control_wayland_platform.c (The API is called ilm_takeScreenshot)
You can use ivi-controller protocol only with ivi-shell.
