Note in data/COPYING that the terminal icon and the DMZ cursors (whatever they are), are already being included as CC-SA. Regarding mixing of different licenses for code vs. data, this is a common practice elsewhere - you'll frequently see games with FOSS source code and proprietary graphics (I seem to recall this is even spelled out in a GNU or CC faq somewhere), and the code-as-GPL&art-as-CC tradition appears pretty widespread in GNOME at least. Anyway, but with that said, I'll update the patch to dual-license the icons, to remove any concern you have before providing your R-b. I'm fine with having them under different licenses, and was merely following the gnome icon precidents.
