The first official release of libinput, 0.1, is now available. There is no API/ABI stability promised for this release, but what can be said is that there are no big changes planned, meaning a user of this library will not need to make large changes to support future versions of libinput.
What is libinput? libinput is a library that handles input devices for display servers and other applications that need to directly deal with input devices. It provides device detection, device handling, input device event processing and abstraction so minimize the amount of custom input code the user of libinput need to provide the common set of functionality that users expect. Where can I get it?
