This dependency was recently added, and the version is newer than what is
packaged by Debian, so I added it to
http://wayland.freedesktop.org/building.html
$ git clone git://git.sv.gnu.org/libunwind
$ cd libunwind
$ autoreconf -i
$ ./configure --prefix=$installdir
$ make && make install
Or you can disable it with --disable-libunwind .
