I finally got wayland running inside an X session with open source ati drivers(r600) (though with frequent crashes) and all the client applications seem to run.
But when I try to run the same build outside X on the console as root, the compositor doesn't complain a lot though I don't see a moving mouse cursor. But the applications abort saying, "sent request to invalid object". Any advice to debug the problem?
