I can confirm that the touchpad multitouch works since the 4.15 kernel
(installed from here http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.15/)! No
blacklisting nesesery. Tested with Ubuntu 16.04.
For more advanced gestures you can additionally use this
https://github.com/bulletmark/libinput-gestures (also tested, works)
Sadly, no fluid pinch-to-zoom gesture (only works as a button press simulation,
but I don't think any linux touchpad has this)
