Play with the libinput tool from above and see what the ranges are that you
need to detect the touches correctly. I don't have a touchpad with size in
front of me right now, but iirc it prints 'down' when it considers a touch
logically down. so basically what you do is run the tool and check if it prints
it correctly when you use the touchpad. check the man page too, you can tweak
the pressure values and see if they need changing from the current 130:150
threshold.
note that the tool has no effect on the running session
