Hello,
I've the same issue, after upgrading libinput 1.9 on Manjaro Xfce the keyboard
and the touchpad of my laptop HP G62 don't work anymore, I can't enter nor to
my desktop nor TTY. Tested with kernel 4.4 and 4.9.
However, with the latest kernel 4.13 the keyboard and the touchpad work as
usual.
