Hm. Maybe it was fixed in master. I'm on Fedora 26 with mutter
3.24.2-2.fc26.x86_64 and gtk3-3.22.15-2.fc26.x86_64
However, IIRC it didn't happen in a guest system in Boxes. I'll check it again.
