Thanks, Hugh. I guess I was hoping to avoid the dba primary role. I appreciate that I will allow me to use different passwords, but I'm concerned that it will give my colleague deletion permissions, unless I change that (at a table level?)
I think I'll just have her use isparql instead of the conductor. Re 7.10.3207: it's even worse than blindly using a binary package from a package manager... I'm using a pre-built AWS image. I guess now would be a good time for me to invest an hour or two into installing the latest version. Thanks for the nudge. -Mark On Thu, Jul 23, 2015 at 9:22 PM, Hugh Williams <hwilli...@openlinksw.com> wrote: > Hi Mark, > > If you create a new user with the "Primary Role" assignment of "dba" from > the drop down listbox available in the Conductor then they will be able to > perform operations under the "Linked Data" and other tabs. > > BTW, if you have been using Virtuoso for a few weeks why is it version > 7.10.3207 , as the latest stable release is 7.2.1.3214 or are you running a > pre-built package installation from one of the Linux vendors ? > > Best Regards > Hugh Williams > Professional Services > OpenLink Software, Inc. // http://www.openlinksw.com/ > Weblog -- http://www.openlinksw.com/blogs/ > LinkedIn -- http://www.linkedin.com/company/openlink-software/ > Twitter -- http://twitter.com/OpenLink > Google+ -- http://plus.google.com/100570109519069333827/ > Facebook -- http://www.facebook.com/OpenLinkSoftware > Universal Data Access, Integration, and Management Technology Providers > > On 23 Jul 2015, at 16:29, Mark Miller <mamille...@gmail.com> wrote: > > I habe been using VOS 7.10.3207 for a few weeks.
