Hi Peter,

Problem is that both unixodbc and virtuoso have the same tool called “isql”, 
thus whichever is installed first will would have it in the search path. On 
many Linux system systems where unixodbc was installed as part of the core OS , 
when they (Debian, Ubuntu etc) build packages for Virtuoso they renamed the 
virtuoso isql to “isql-vt” so it did not conflict. So that would probably be 
the simple solution …
