Hi Alexander, Their is a difference between the subscription to the Virtuoso Cloud Edition Amazon EC2 AMI and the Virtuoso license the Virtuoso Server running on that AMI uses. You would typically have one subscription to the Virtuoso Clould Edition AMI , and can start one or more Virtuoso Cloud Edition AMI each of which have their own Virtuoso license to enable the Virtuoso Server to run just as if you were running a Virtuoso commercial sever locally. The activation key is not required for the Virtuoso AMI. Each AMI you start is associated to your Amazon account via your subscription to which charges for hosting and bandwidth usage etc. is automatically made by Amazon.
