Hi Erwin, In the Virtuoso database directory what is the size of the virtuoso transaction log file (virtuoso.trx) as the server seems to have spent abt 15mins their rolling forward the pending transaction before running out of memory ?
What is the "NumberOfBuffers" setting in your virtuoso.ini file and how does this compare with the amount of memory available on your machine ? Is is recommended it be set to 2/3 to 3/5 of available RAM, as detailed in the the Virtuoso performance tuning guide at: http://virtuoso.openlinksw.com/dataspace/dav/wiki/Main/VirtRDFPerformanceTuning Finally please note that the latest v5 open source release available for download is 5.0.13 released month thus I would recommend you upgrade to this latest version or even 6.1.0 (would require dump and reload of RDF data): http://virtuoso.openlinksw.com/dataspace/dav/wiki/Main/ Best Regards Hugh Williams Professional Services OpenLink Software Web: http://www.openlinksw.com Support: http://support.openlinksw.com Forums: http://boards.openlinksw.com/support Twitter: http://twitter.com/OpenLink On 23 Feb 2010, at 16:20, Erwin Leonardi wrote: > Hi, > > I start using Virtuoso Open Source for storing RDF data. > This morning, the server was crashed while I deleted all triples from a > particular graph.
