I want some help regarding the Virtuoso Open-Source Edition version
6 Technology Preview 1, Particularly, on installing the Facet
Browsing Engine.
I've compiled the source on a Fedora SO following the Installation
Instructions present in the distribution, and the server is working
well, but I've realized that the http://{host}/fct/ directory isn't
present on the Virtual Directories defined on the instance. I know
that this is development pre-release but I really want to make use
of facets.
Can you give me some info what could be wrong with my setup?
PD: I've tried to execute the /binsrc/b3s/ scripts directly to see
what happens, but some of them threw some errors, because they make
use of some pieces of code that I can't see on the distribution.
There is nothing wrong with your setup.
There is a script missing that should bundle the Facet Browser front-
end code into a VAD package. We are working hard to get this script
ready. I will make this script available to you as soon as it is fixed.
