Hi Bob,

Which VOS release are you using, the latest 5.0.10 or an earlier build ?

There was a problem with the grants on the SPARQL user in the VOS 5.0.9, which yourself and others had reported when attempting to perform SPARUL operations and the work around was to manually add these grants which in this case would be:

grant execute on SPARUL_CLEAR to "SPARQL"
grant execute on SPARUL_CLEAR to SPARQL_UPDATE

This has been fixed in 5.0.10 such that once your grant the SPARQL_UPDATE role to the 'SPARQL" user these operations can be performed. Certainly they now work with my 5.0.10 build ...

Best Regards

Have you given them SPARQL_UPDATE?

Yes, and rwx/Owner Group User permissions as Default permissions as
well. That's why I thought I'd have to grant something more specific on
the Grants tab.

thanks,

Bob
