Hi Kurt,
The following documentation provides details on virtuoso base
installation requirements:
http://docs.openlinksw.com/virtuoso/
databaseadmsrv.html#srvadminstallreqt
With the following link providing details on configuring and tuning
the Virtuoso for use as an RDF data store:
http://docs.openlinksw.com/virtuoso/
rdfperformancetuning.html#rdfperfloadingunitpro
Ultimately the requirements will depend on the size of your RDF data
store ie database
The Virtuoso Database files are all located in ~/var/lib/virtuoso/db
for a default VOS installation, with the virtuoso.db file being the
actual database file all data is store in by default. Database
striping for large databases splitting the database across multiple
files can also be enabled as detailed at:
http://docs.openlinksw.com/virtuoso/databaseadmsrv.html#DISKIO
~/share/virtuoso/vad contains the Virtuoso VAD packages.
Best Regards
Hugh Williams

Hi List,
Is there a set of min requirements anywhere? I've been asked to
specify some specs for a virtual machine that i want to use for
virtuoso.
Also, sorry for my ignorance, but all the disk usage by virtuoso for
the quad store and such goes in ./share/virtuoso/vad ??? I have
1.6million triples and ./share/virtuoso/vad is about 132mb... seem
reasonable? seems small to me :-)
Thanks,
Kurt J
