Hi, When building UI agents atop Virtuoso, one very common requirement is to resolve a simple "basic info" combo per resource. This is usually comprised of: label, image and description.
So, pseudocode for this service could be: getInfo( uri, lang ) -> label [, image] [, description ] Any chance we'll see some of that soon? Perhaps associated to the Faceter service? ( I see there is a label service in there... ) We are solving this now by using SPARQL + sponging + optionals and a heuristic. On top of that we also implement a consolidation strategy ( retrieve several info combos per HTTP request ) to reduce server stress and improve UX by reducing latency. Thanks!
