Hi Cristain,

As detailed in the screen shot of the documentation it is the "AWS Access Key ID" and "AWS Secret Access key" that are required for authentication, must as with the Amazon S3 and ElasticFox plugins for FireFox, the Access Key ID of which must be 20 chars.

With the new AWS Management Console (https://console.aws.amazon.com/ ec2/home) this now allows for logins using the email address and password associated with your AWS account, but the EC2exts Ui does not and still requires the access key credentials as do the FF plugins. You can obtain this information from the AWS Management console by, clicking on the "My Account" bread crumb link in the top right and clicking on the "Access Identifiers" link presented.

I shall add a note to the documentation to make this clearer as it currently stands, and also enquire of development as to whether the EC2exts UI can be enhance to take the AWS login credentials as the AWS Management Console does in a future release, as they generally are far easier to remember ...

Best Regards
Hugh Williams
