Hi Hugh, Thanks for you answer.
No, I'm not using the prebuilt windowns binaries. I've downloaded the souce-code of VOS, compiled and installed on Linux. Then I followed the *Post-Installation Sanity Check* instructions from the Getting Started material and that error ocurred, although the *make check* comand indicates that there's not problem at all. Indeed there's no *virtuoso.log* at instalation directory... probably I haven't started the virtuoso server process yet. How can I do it? Thank you again. 2009/1/24 Hugh Williams <hwilli...@openlinksw.com> > Hi André, > Can you please confirm what exactly you have downloaded and installed ? > > Assuming you are using the open source product and do not indicate having > compiled anything, I presume you are suing the prebuilt windows binaries we > provide ? > > The error you report typically indicates that the virtuoso server process > is not running on the port specified ie 1111, thus can you confirm you have > started the virtuoso server and confirmed it is running.
