The sparql and isparql demos shipped with Virtuoso were built using the
OpenLink Ajax Toolkit (OAT), which is an open source Javascript framework
for building rich browser-based user interfaces using XML/A to connect to
databases. Documentation and samples and the latest OAT version can be
obtained from:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/oat/
I hope these links will provide the information necessary for you to proceed
add the necessary AJAX functionality you are seeking ...
