I just installed ubuntu 9.10 and the stock vim does not recognize --remote,
which totally cripples the way I work with it, so I built from the 7.2 source,
which I have done on FC and debian quite a few times. It appears to build
fine, but when run:

Vim: Caught deadly signal ABRT
Vim: Finished.
Aborted

I thought this may be my configure options, so I minimized them
(--disable-netbeans --enable-gui=no), same thing. I've never seen this error
before. Anyone have any clues?
