Well, it apparently means that your SpecialKey highlighting is set by 
the "slate" colorscheme to bold blue text on whatever background you 
would have if it weren't a SpecialKey. I don't understand how you could 
get a BG of the underlying FG colour, unless the underlying text at that 
location would have "reverse" highlighting.
