that's what i'm doing now, i was just hoping maybe there are ways without updating the hosts files, reason is, when you ask somebody to try out your app from a certain website and told them to update the hosts file, 9 out of 10 will not do it, of course this happens only during development when the domain is not yet pointed at the app.
