Memory usage is normal as far as I can see and increasing the memory
available to the JVM 
from -Xmx512M to -Xmx1024M doesn't help. No files are created/written and
the number of 
files in the webapp directory is normal (~400). Database and thread usage
are bound by 
pools, which have also been the same for quite a while.
