Subversion reported the following (you can copy the content of this dialog to the clipboard using Ctrl-C): In file 'D:\Development\SVN\Releases\TortoiseSVN-1.13.1\ext\subversion\subversion\libsvn_wc\wc_db.c' line 10238: assertion failed (svn_dirent_is_absolute(local_abspath)) --------------------------- OK --------------------------- (Note: I tried searching the mailing list for the above quoted string, and the only hit was from 2015 with no conclusion, just a follow-up asking if 1.9.2 fixed it, and no answer.) **** TortoiseSVN 1.13.1, Build 28686 - 64 Bit , 2019/10/31 18:49:38 Subversion 1.13.0, -release apr 1.7.0 apr-util 1.6.1 serf 1.3.9 OpenSSL 1.1.1d 10 Sep 2019 zlib 1.2.11 SQLite 3.29.0 I got this error today, when in TortoiseSvn. I was looking in the svn log, and looking at a deleted folder, and opened in repository, which brought up the Repository Browser. It showed two files. I right-clicked the first one, and chose Edit, and it opened the contents in notepad. After I looked at it, I closed it, and right-clicked the second one, and chose Edit, and got an empty file and this error above. Subsequently right-clicking the first file and chosing Edit also gives the above error. I just executed this procedure again, with the same results: the first file works the first time, but then after that, both produce the above error.
