Do note that 1.8 is already beyond its EOL date. Furthermore, 1.9 should have EOLed a couple of weeks ago, but we decided — *after* the EOL date passed — to extend the support by six months. 1.10.x is the recommended version for new server installations (or 1.12.x, if you don't need LTS). > You are not missing much just some of the fixes since 1.9.7 > > http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/subversion/branches/1.9.x/CHANGES There's also these: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/subversion/branches/1.10.x/CHANGES https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/subversion/branches/1.12.x/CHANGES (more below) > On Sep 11, 2019, at 12:41 PM, Stefan Karlsson <sbkarls...@gmail.com> wrote: > > I have a Synology DiskStation DS718+, and in the *Package Center* app, the > > SVN server is listed for installation. > > But its on old one, it's version 1.9.7.0119. > > > > So, I have asked Synology support about it, but only got the > > answer:Unfortunately as we are not the developer of this package we are > > unable to advise whether a new release is due to be submitted to Synology > > for verification and release on our Package Center. > >> I would recommend contacting the developers (Apache Software Foundation) > >> directly to ask the same question. > > > > So my question is: > > When will a never version be available in Synology DiskStation app *Package > > Center*? We don't know. The Apache Subversion Project only releases sources; we do not produce packages for any platform or repository. I realize that Synology expect someone to submit subversion-1.10.*.tar.gz to them, but that someone is not us, and we don't know who it is. Daniel
