If you have a suitable --diff-cmd program, you can diff those files in svn. (And there's an outstanding bug report to allow automagically setting a diff-cmd based on the MIME type of the diffee. I'm not sure whether diff-cmd today gets enough information (such as the name and properties of the diff'd file) to allow it to dispatch different diff commands for different file arguments.)
