Hi, I wanted to find out what you folks out there have to say about the following statement ..
apart from normal install of svn clients on the development environment ... new tools such as puppet are evangelizing install of source code control systems for update of master configurations to the production server ... A / is this a good idea ? B/ or should it be a typical release by the normal method of installation of configuration via the rpm or some other process that does not need source code control systems ... I am also looking at security \ audit perspective since some of us work for financial companies .. Thanks in advance for your time .. Regards, Raj
