Guten Tag Julius Smith, am Freitag, 11. Mai 2012 um 08:45 schrieben Sie: > My experience was different - I could not check into the 1.6 server > on Linux (with 1.6-format repo) from my 1.7-upgraded working copy > (with 1.7 svn client) on the Mac.
Than your experience is wrong, you got an error and should give detailed information about that. I use most current TortoiseSVN, 1.7.6 with Subversion 1.7.4 with an Subversion server at 1.4.x. From your original mail the only thing that I understood was IP problems because of which you couldn't commit. But that has nothing to do with Subversion. > Anyway, I do have progress to report. I did manage to downgrade to > 1.6 on my MacBook. Apparently MacPorts only *said* it was installing > 1.7, when really installed what I asked for. Very strange. This can't be, upgrading a working copy is a 1.7 feature and downgrading the working copy is not possible.
