One of my team-mates does not have this password issue(we are using the 
same svn repo). I have compared the two files between mine and his. For 
~/.subversion/config, I have not changed anything, except global-ingores 
property. For ~/.subversion/servers, I have not changed anything at all.

Yes, there is  the file "servers" and here is its content:
$cat servers 
[global]
#store-passwords = no
store-plaintext-passwords = no

I am using http:// type URL, not svn+ssh:// type.
