every repository gets a unique ID (uuid) on creation. But to be able to svn relocate, your new repo needs to have same uuid as the old one See http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.7/svn-book.html#svn.reposadmin.maint.uuids for more information. -- Lorenz
