http://subversion.apache.org/docs/release-notes/1.7 discusses how to adjust the network data compression level as a global setting.
Is there a mechanism by which compression can be turned off for clients whose IP address implies they are on the same LAN as the server, but turned on for clients on the other side of a WAN link? If so, could the 1.7 release notes be updated to explain how to configure that?
