Subversion client works in Disconnected mode unless you go to perform some
function(s) that really create session with server unless it ends. Whenever
you need to test subversion performance and server load ; keep the following
parameters in your mind:-

· CPU Usage and monitoring
· SVN Logs
· Hard disk space w.r.to repo size on which repos database :
· RAM usage
· Loading bulk amount of users etc etc :. Depends on OS you
are using

PS: Specially when performance during massive Commits or Massive checkouts
or Increasing load of users on server using Commit, checkouts etc :..

I used these all.
We have Visual SVN on server side with 1000 GB of data for svn repos. TSVN
on client side. Good server specs and RAM/HD as well.

If anyone have good ideas other than ; please share J

Thanks in advance

 Cheers!

Subject: Stress-Testing of SVN

Good afternoon!
I have a task to stress test our SVN server, but unfortunately I'd know how
to emulate some definite number of users and how to monitor server load
during the work of these users.
Please, can you recommend me how can I stress test SVN server, to what
metrics should I pay attention (what is the bottleneck of SVN: memory, CPU,
hdd?) and with what tools I can monitor ubuntu server/svn server ?

I will be very grateful! Please help me!
