Is there anything special about the files that file to import? For instance, are they particularly large? Can you reproduce the problem with a different remote Subversion server using the same repository access protocol? (You didn't specify which protocol you are using btw -- http://? svn://? svn+ssh://? file://?). Can you reproduce the problem with the same Subversion server using a different repository access protocol?
