This strikes me as odd. I would at least not want to restart/reimport which would disconnect the history etc. If you don't want to maintain Solaris 8 support in your new development, you could still create a branch to support it for old customers etc. I'm not 100% sure what you are doing, maybe if you explained a bit more people could give better advise. > If you're using FSFS and you're staying on the same processor > architecture, you may be able to just copy the database over. Also, things like merge tracking were improved, I believe. Note that you could move the repositories to SVN 1.6 while still being able to access the repositories from 1.4 clients, the old clients just will not benefit from some of the newer features automatically. That said, I'd definitely upgrade the server and dump/load the repositories.
