Sorry about the top post. I'm also active on another mailing list regarding dovecot where you are *supposed* to top post. Again maybe I should have RTFM'd! OK- I think I understand. What the directory had in it was a copy of what I put into the repository; I hadn't made any changes since it went it went in, so it should be fine. All other directories similarly; so, if I understand correctly, if I delete them all first or just use --force to check them out, it should be the same. Thanks a bunch- Allen
