Hello, how good/bad an idea is storing large amounts of medium-sized files (think Yum/RPM repositories with full CentOS/EPEL releases) in SVN for rollback and other purposes?
I've got the feeling that the amount of disk space consumed for deprecated versions alone should be preventive; making backups etc. unnecessarily hard. Are there other reasons not to do this? How would you build an argument about this? Can you make this an FAQ answer?
