I don't think anyone would object to GPG2 support for password storage. It just needs to be implemented. If you use svn+ssh:// you can use an ssh-agent (as you pointed out). Other options on UNIX are KDE Wallet and Gnome Keyring, which provide agent-like functionality. On Windows and Mac, your Subversion credentials are by default stored encrypted on disk and retrieved transparently as needed. Stefan
