Okay, so something damaged the repository on a file-base. This can be broken software or broken hardware, I'd watch out. > Restoring this specific file didn't help to correct this issue. Wait: How did you restore? From a backup? If so, at least the problems with MS Windows being unable to read the file should go away. If you then try to check out again, you should at least get a different error message from Subversion.
