I'm telnetting to a Windows box and attempting to use the Collabnet svn command
line client to access a repository using a URL that starts with svn+ssh.
The [tunnels] ssh setting in my config file is pointing to the
TortoisePlink.exe installed by TortoiseSVN and my own password protected key
file.)

The telnet terminal just hangs presumably because TortoisePlink.exe is trying
to display a password prompt for the key file in a popup dialog which of course
isn't supported by the telnet client.
Is there a workaround for this, or is the only option to remote desktop to the
Windows box then run svn commands inside a console window so that
TortoisePlink.exe can display its popup window?

(I tried using the Putty plink.exe in the ssh setting in the hope that is would
prompt for a password, but it just hangs.)
