Agreed on the name-calling. I don't know that I'd call it volunteering their developers' time - I mean, the company makes money off Subversion and Subversion-related services among other things, in addition to contributing significant resources to the development. I think it's great that they offer up the binary packages for free; their Windows installer makes it easier for me to get Subversion accepted in my organization.
