Regarding 'immense Apache memory leak, plus patch'

Hi

I just want to know if any solution has been found to the problem 
mentioned in this post:

As far as I can see, the patches have not been applied. Our svn server 
crashed today due to insufficient memory and I suspect this could be the 
problem.
